This is the old classic game that lets you recreate World War II (from 1942)

Here is what the old map looks like. Look further below for some photos of what the map looks like with pieces on it.

The next two pictures are oversized so you can see the pieces better.

As German troops are about to storm Moscow, the British land in France.

In this photo you can see most of the map. An Industrial Complex has been built in Australia. The Japanese have launched a failed strike against it.

As you can also see, cookies are a vital necessity when playing Axis & Allies. :)

This is the new box for Axis & Allies. It has been updated with a new map and revamped rules.

 

Here are some pictures of the new version from a game we played in September 2007.

Here is the map after three turns. The Japanese have destroyed the American fleet; the Russians are fortifying the Central Asian factories; the British have hampered the German advance on the Soviet Union.
