Bill's Commentary

Turkey's End of Game Comments:

Greetings and Salutations to the Great Rulers of Europe,

Having never played EiA before I had no real expections coming into it.  I just hoped to make a strong showing.  My early game was full of newbie mistakes but I learned and became wiser as the game went along. Unfortunately by the time I wisened up it was too late to change course.

Diplomatically speaking this was a mild game.  Early battle lines and alliances remained consistent throughout the game.  I blame the long wars with Great Britain for Turkey's absense from the winner's circle.  We all share the blame for allowing France and Spain to become so powerful and basically coast to victory.  Thanks to Bill and Kevin for your monetary support that allowed me to fight England for so long.  John, I think we could have had a fun time kicking England out of the Med in the early game.  Anthony, I eventually forgave your early backstab and our forces worked well together against our common enemy.  Wished we could have organized that attack against Prussia.  I was still at war with it at the end.

Congratulations to Kevin and John.  It was a pleasure playing with you all.  Thank you Kevin for the use of your garage for such a long stretch of time.  Like Anthony I was surprised how long of a game it is/was but I'm glad we finished it.

Looking forward to playing with you all again,
The Grand Sultan Bill Weippert
